I am always interested in hearing comments about my web site and will try to respond. If you are interested in one of my pictures please look here at the legal section before contacting me. Most of the images on this site have some sort of protection placed upon them. Whether it is a copyright date, embedded watermark or something else and all the images have been reduced in resolution to keep the site as small as possible.(thus faster) Any image I provide you will be of higher resolution than what is posted here.

I also have all the Waypoints, Routs and Tracks used to create the maps and they are available free of charge.

This is my third version of this site. Each time I rebuild this site it gets more complex, this time is no different. This design came about because I found the old design was inconsistent, navigation was difficult and each page set had a different color schema. Some of the technologies used in the previous version were: HTML, Roll-over images using javascript and embedded java applets.

This design had its beginnings as a Photoshop image, like my previous versions. This time the site has been designed from the ground up to look the same on every page and provide multiple ways to get to other pages. The initial design had the green at the top flowing down the left side which contained the menu bar. Once the design was finished I used ImageReady(part of Photoshop) to separated(or slice) all the parts of the page and build the initial page. At this point I opened this page in my HTML editor and started to add the elements I had not placed in Photoshop. After working this page for 2 days I found that with the menu on the left there was a large amount of wasted space. After another day spent in Photoshop and I ended up with what you see today.

From this point it was just a matter of pasting in the text from previous version pages and updating the format.

Embedded objects (PDF's and Quicktime Panoramas)

Any web page can be build with two very simple tool Notepad and Paintbrush. To help me out I use more powerful tools.

Well you may not be surprised that I have some skills working with computers. I have spent 10+ years in the computer industry, mainly in the computer repair and administration fields. I also have skills with most desktop software. I am quite familiar with MS Office, you cannot function in this world without it. Of course I am very familiar with the Adobe suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, and PageMaker). With my career I have learned a large amount about MS OS's, namely Win9x, W2K both desktop and server. I have taught myself all the skills I have for designing web pages.
